- The British Berkefeld "Super
Sterasyl" ceramic filter elements removes up to 99.99% of particles,
cysts, parasites and pathogenic bacteria including e coli, cryptosporidium,
gardia and salmonella typhii. The silver-impregnated system also reduces
chlorine, rust, sediment and organic chemicals. Total filter capacity is a
minimum of 6000 gallons depending on the source water. The carbon matrix
interior provides additional support in removing chemicals like chlorine and
other bad taste and odor elements. Meets NSF standards, ISO-9002 quality
standards, British 5750 quality standards and England's Water Research
Council performance standards. Detailed assembly and operating instructions
are included.
